I. TỔNG QUAN VỀ BÀI THI PART 4

• Kéo dài trong vòng 180 giây (60 giây chuẩn bị & 120 giây để trả lời)

• Có tổng cộng 3 câu hỏi

II. Dạng đề sẽ gặp

• Dạng đề kể một câu chuyện trong quá khứ (chiếm 90%)

• Dạng đề hỏi quan điểm cá nhân (chiếm 10% đen đủi lắm thì mới rơi vào)

III. Cách đối phó với các dạng đề

1. Đề kể chuyện - đề chiếm đại đa số:

1.1. Tổng quan về đề kể chuyện

Câu đầu tiên trong bộ 3 câu hỏi (⅓) sẽ bắt kể lại về một câu chuyện trong quá khứ

→ dành NHIỀU thời gian nhất cho câu đầu tiên

→ câu thứ 2&3 mỗi câu chỉ dành ra khoảng 10-15 giây?

1.2. Làm sao để không chôn chân ở phần này?
Step 1: Sử dụng 1 mở bài cố định cho mọi dạng đề kể chuyện:
→ In my life, I have + ............... [câu chuyện mà đề bài hỏi] so many times. Each time gives me a different experience. However, there is a time when it is the most impressive and significant. So today, I will take this opportunity/chance to share this with you.
• impressive (adj): ấn tượng
• significant(adj): quan trọng/đáng kể = important (adj)
• take the opportunity to V (v): tận dụng cơ hội để làm gì
Ví dụ: Kể về một lần thăm 1 thành phố mới (Tell me about a time you visited a new city)
→ In my life, I have visited new cities so many times. Each time gives me a different experience. However, there is a time when it is the most impressive and significant. So today, I will take this opportunity to share this with you.
Step 2: Sử dụng 1 câu dẫn thân bài → để nói về khoảng thời gian diễn ra sự việc này
→ As far as I remember, this happened three months ago/yesterday/ when I was on summer vacation.
→ If I remember correctly, this happened three months ago / last week / yesterday / when I was ........
• As far as I remember, this happened: nếu như tôi nhớ không nhầm, câu chuyện này diễn ra....

Step 3: Triển khai 5W1H xung quanh câu chuyện
Where? - Ở đâu? (thành phố này tên gì?) / What? - cái gì? (làm những CÁI GÌ ở đấy) / How? - như nào (thành phố đấy NHƯ NÀO? / cảm xúc NHƯ NÀO)
Tên thành phố: Cat Ba island
Đặc điểm của thành phố: nhiều cảnh đẹp, con người hiếu khách/thân thiện, hải sản tươi ngon & rẻ.
→ I arrived Cat Ba island, which is famous for many stunning views, friendly people, and delicious seafood.
Hoạt động ở đảo cát bà:
• we went swimming and surfing at Lan Ha bay
• take photos of sunset
• have a food tour around CatBa island
→ The first activity we did is going swimming and surfing at Lan Ha bay. After that, we took photos of sunset to save unforgettable memories. Finally, in the evening, we had food tour around Cat Ba island.
Cảm xúc - feelings:
Trước chuyến đi: tôi cảm thấy rất háo hức excited → vì thành phố rất đẹp/lần đầu tiên tới thành phố
→ Before the trip, I felt so excited because this is a beautiful and this is also the first time I have come to this city.

Sau chuyến đi: rất muốn quay trở lại Cat Ba island trong tương lai
→ I really want to return Cat Ba island in the future
Step 4: Trả lời 2 câu hỏi của đề (trả lời nhanh gọn cho đủ yêu cầu là được)
Step 5: Kết bài cho phần trình bày
